I bought this Wok Ring to go with my Joyce Chen Traditional Round Bottom Wok and it does exactly what it should. It sits on my gas stovetop and cradles the wok securely, so I don't have to hold it while stir frying. The ring also focuses the flame's heat, which gives a noticeably deeper sear. It's steel and easy to place and remove. Just remember it's hand wash only. A simple, practical addition if you cook with a round bottom wok.
