I picked up this AC Power Adapter so my Escali scale would stop shutting off mid-task while I portion ingredients. It does exactly what the description says: it overrides the automatic shut-off, so the scale stays on and ready whenever I need it. Build feels fine and it plugs in without any fuss. Only reason for four stars is that I wish the cord were a bit longer, but that is a minor gripe. Handy if you use your scale often and are tired of it going to sleep on you.
