I picked up this kit to try making sushi at home and it covers the basics nicely. The bamboo mat rolls tightly, and the rice paddle makes spreading an even layer much easier than using a spoon. The instruction booklet walks you through each step, which helped me a lot as a beginner, and the recipe ideas gave me a good starting point. Bamboo feels sturdy and eco-friendly, and cleanup is simple since it's hand wash only. Great little set for anyone wanting to roll their own without buying lots of tools.
