I've been using this Mercado Large Platform Dial Scale for portioning bulk ingredients and it handles the job well. The 132 lb capacity means I can weigh large batches without switching equipment, and the 0.5 lb increments are fine enough for most kitchen tasks. The platform measures 12.5 x 12.5 in, so bigger bowls and boxes sit securely. It switches between lb and g, which is handy when following different recipes. The dial is easy to read and the unit feels solid on the counter. No complaints so far.
